It seems like DC’s newest universe, starting with The Joker, is getting another villain film. On the heels of The Batman, the second of DC’s ‘The…’ named movies comes news of a possible Riddler movie. Although The Joker and The Batman don’t seem to be related to each other in an actual universe, like the DCEU, the naming convention used by DC implies something different.
Actor Paul Dano will play Batman villain Riddler in the currently-filming The Batman movie. Director Matt Reeves already praised Dano’s version of the Riddler, so perhaps we’ll soon see more from him in DC’s future movies.
“Paul Dano plays a version of the Riddler that no one has ever seen before and it’s really exciting. He’s such an incredibly creative actor, and so what he is doing I think is going to blow people’s minds.”
