Sci-Fi author Sara Judson Brown joins me on today’s podcast to talk about her new book, Siren’s Cove, set for release on January 26, 2021.

From Sara’s website bio:

Sara Judson Brown lives near St. Cloud, Minnesota, (yes, it is as cold here as you imagine) with her husband, two children, and her dog. She worked as a freelance writer for several years slinging copy for magazines, blogs, corporate communications, and marketing clients, but it wasn’t until 2009 when she decided to start writing her own stories.

When she’s not writing about freighter pirates and time jumpers, she likes to spend time with her family or hang out at the St. Cloud Public Library. Sara is a graduate of Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Her debut novel SIREN’S COVE from her Perigalacticon Series will publish in January 2021.

You can pick up Sara’s book, Siren’s Cove, on Amazon here.

Book 1: SIREN’S COVE (Publishing Jan. 26 ) When a faulty time coil destroys her ship, test pilot Lieutenant Anaya Chapman awakens with no memory of the accident and no identity. Haunted by dark images from her past, she finds herself the reluctant guest of a local tavern owner on the Colonies – a small planetary settlement of old-fashioned expatriates with a thriving intergalactic tourist trade.

Tavern owner Captain John Galeas buried his wife and then his career when he didn’t return to his home planet. Rumors of John’s past continue to swirl when a beautiful stranger with a missing memory shows up on his doorstep. Anaya’s past is as murky as John’s future. The stakes turn deadly when Anaya’s true identity is revealed, and John’s former underworld associates return, bent on revenge.

John and Anaya must settle old business or risk losing their future—one that may still destroy Anaya’s chance at a new beginning.
