With the beginning of every month comes new movies to your favorite streaming services. November brings some of my favorite shows and movies to HBO Max!

Titans, Seasons 1 & 2 (2018-Present)

Summary: DC Comics’ Teen Titans, a group of young heroes, join forces to fight evil. Members include Dick Grayson (Nightwing/Robin, formerly), Kory Anders (Starfire), Rachel Roth (Raven), Gar Logan (Beast Boy), Jason Todd (Robin), Donna Troy (Wonder Girl), Hank Hall (Hawk), Dawn Granger (Dove), Rose Wilson (Ravenger/Ravager), and Conner Kent (Subject 13).

The Iron Giant (1999)

Summary: The Iron Giant is based on the 1968 novel The Iron Giant by Ted Hughes. The film, set in 1957, centers on a young boy named Hogarth Hughes that befriends the gigantic metallic robot who fell from outer space.

The Time Traveler’s Wife (2009)

Summary: The Time Traveler’s Wife is a romantic sci fi drama movie based on Audrey Niffenegger’s 2003 novel of the same name. The movie follows Henry DeTamble, who has a paranormal genetic disorder which makes him randomly time travel. Throughout the film, he tries to build a romantic relationship with a woman named Clare Abshire.

Terminator: Salvation (2009)

Summary: Terminator: Salvation is a military sci fi post-apocalyptic film set in the year 2018. It focuses on the war between Skynet’s machine network and humanity, as the remnants of the world’s militaries have united to form the Resistance to fight against Skynet’s killing machines.

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003)

Summary: Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines is a sci fi action film and the third installment in the Terminator film series. In this film, a T-X terminator is sent back in time by Skynet to ensure the rise of its machines by killing top members of the future human resistance, which will be led by John Connor.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009)

Summary: G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra is a military sci fi action film based on the toy franchise created by Hasbro. The story follows two American soldiers, Duke and Ripcord, who join the G.I. Joe team after being attacked by Military Armaments Research Syndicate (M.A.R.S.) troops.

The Dark Knight (2008)

Summary: The Dark Knight is a superhero film based on the DC Comics character Batman. Battleship

Summary: Battleship is a military sci fi action film based on the board game of the same name. The crews of a small group of warships are forced to battle against a naval fleet of extraterrestrial origin in order to thwart their destructive goals.
